The 'Stache Bash Re-Cap & End of Growing Season
11 growers, 4 events, countless beers. Our intrepid Seattle chapter finished off the 2006 growing season with a brilliantly successful 'Stache Bash at Kells Irish Pub on Tuesday, December 14, 2006. We managed to collect over $400 during that evening alone, bringing our season collection total to over $1600. Many thanks to our growers, all our donors, the fine folks at Kells, and all the anonymous 'Stache Bash onlookers who clapped, cried, and donated along with us.
An impressive array of our friends and loved ones turned out to witness the debauchery. And we are never ones to disappoint our fans. Some of the highlights...
#1: Sean waxing poetic with his Mustache Haiku. Delivered as a Poetry Slam, with the necessary syllabic edits:
Mustache. Cherriesblossom bloom
Who here wants a mustache ride?
We are all special.
#2: Grower Aleks strutting his stuff as America's Next Top Mustache. He clutches his stapler while demonstrating the Milton Shuffle:
#3: David putting the 'stache in Pino-'stache. Who knew the guy liked whips so much?:
#4: Niladri humping a judge like a dog in heat. Noelle successfully won a statewide restraining order against him:
Of course, in the end, there could only be One. One Sweetest Seattle 'Stache 2006. And thus was Sean Purcell crowned:
Congratulations, Sean + Sean's 'Stache. You're all winners!
